I started meditating about four years ago when I started college. It’s one of the only things that truly centers me before I start my day or calms me after a stressful one. I’m also of the opinion that anything is better if you add music to it. It only makes sense then that I love playing music in the background of my meditation sessions. Music gives me a rhythm I can match my breath to, which allows me to more clearly focus during meditation.
